IBM compatible computer equipment is the standard in today's
computer equipment. Avoid mainframes and other computer standards, as they cannot

owns the intellectual property and design of the predictive dialing hardware

Warranty and repair are easily handled by the designer
and manufacturer of the hardware, whereas VARS (value added resellers) have varying
levels of competence and may be unable to adequately warrant or repair hardware
they have not designed. Many predictive dialer companies use Dialogic hardware
which they do not manufacture. With such companies it is necessary to thoroughly
investigate their warranty/ repair track record.

To be assured that the hardware was designed for
predictive dialing. Some predictive dialers use hardware that was designed for
modem, faxing, or other applications that have been modified to emulate predictive
dialing activities.
