The skip list is a list of people that you do not want to automatically call ever again. This list is separately maintained from your call list. Telephone numbers in the skip list will never be automatically dialed even if they are in the "to call" list. All entries are marked with the date in which they were entered so that periodically old entries may be deleted from the skip list.

It is becoming more common for calling legislation to require that a Do Not Call (skip list) be maintained for individuals who request never to be called again. The skip list can also be used for your current customer list if you do not want to cold call your clientele.

To import your current clientele into the skip list call MarkeTel Support, and they will guide you through the simple process. The software can even put your new clients into the skip list so that you do not ever cold call them again with the dialer.

Methods of adding telephone number to the skip list include:

	Import feature in our software.
	Fast keyboard entry system. Telephone numbers can even be added to the skip list while the dialer is in full operation.
	Telemarketer key tone entry. Telephone numbers may be automatically added to the skip list by assigning a key tone number for the telemarketers to press.
