Position: Senior Sales Consultant
                - reporting to Sales Team Leader

Description:

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a talented, confident and capable Senior Sales Consultant. The successful candidate needs to have a solid sales background, be technologically savvy, and have some experience in the contact center industry. You will be working with both domestic and international clients, be involved with the company's strategic planning sessions, and will help drive the company's vision to fruition. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, being a main point of contact with clientele, manage the creation and distribution of lead information through to the completion of the selling process, and bring innovative ideas to help meet the sales target.


Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of contact centre business processes and practices as well as trends and applications.


  • Motivated and independent thinker, establishing goals and targets, manages time effective and self-monitors own performance to organizational goals.


  • Knowledge of strategic selling to complex customers (multiple decision makers).


  • Knowledge of professional selling practices (dealing with objections, supporting, etc.).


  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills; goal and achievement-oriented.


  • Operate strategically as opportunities and challenges arise.


  • Is comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.


  • Can assist in the development of support marketing materials to enhance sales activities.


  • Possess skills in coaching employees on selling, up selling, and cross selling, etc.


  • Listening, Patience and Action Oriented.


  • Self-discipline and Self Starter.


  • Knowledge of CRM (SugarCRM, Maximizer, etc.) is an asset.


  • Knowledge of DNC (Do-not-call) legal frameworks in Canada and the USA is an asset.



Education:

  • College Degree/University Degree in Commerce (or in a related discipline).


  • Certification by CPSA is an asset.



Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive work in a sales role in a technology company.


  • Telecommunications experience is an asset.


  • Experience in the Contact Center industry considered an asset.
